If you are looking to just select one lucky fan out of the crowd Interactive Promotions Group’s most popular contest insurance is the Target Goal Shot. When purchasing the contest insurance you will be able to select the distance of the shot. You can either run the contest insurance from the Close Blue Line, Center Ice, or the Far Blue Line and there will be a standard template measurement for the goal. The prize that you wish to offer is completely up to you, many of our clients like to do large cash prizes but other people offer season tickets to their Hockey Team’s games or even a new car. If the lucky fan that is chosen can make the shot they walk away a winner!
If you would rather offer something to all of the fans in the audience you can run the Chuck-A-Puck promotion. You will sell numbered, foam pucks before the start of the game. You will want to make sure that the two people that you designate to sell the pucks keep a log of each person’s name and the numbered puck that they were given. Between either the first and seconds periods or second and third periods have the contestants throw their puck onto the ice. If someone is lucky enough to get their puck into the designated on-ice target they will take home the grand prize!
What to showcase the talent of your team? Why not run the Hat Trick promotion at one of your home games. Before the game, Interactive Promotions Group will select a player on your hockey team who will be playing for a lucky fan in the seats. If the team player they can score a Hat Trick during that game the fan in the crowd will win big! This can also be run as a fan participation contest. You would have the lucky fan come down to the ice and shoot one shot from the blue line, one from center ice and one from the far blue line. If they can score all three shots they go home a winner.
