$100,000 Lucky Money Bags Prize Winner!

Jon Mariano of Schaumburg, IL had quite a summer of 2009! While participating in a charity golf outing on June 22nd at The Ivanhoe Club in Ivanhoe, IL, Mariano was one of ten lucky contestants chosen to participate in the Lucky Money Bags Promotion to be held at dinner following the golf event. As luck would have it, Mariano managed to successfully choose the 3 correct money bags that ensured his big winnings of $100,000.

Mariano finished his round of golf and was picked at random to participate in the money bag promotion covered by Interactive Promotions Group. Ten contestants in all were selected for the contest and each was instructed to select three money bags for the chance to win the grand prize. The contestants had 30 numbered money bags to choose from and only three of the bags contained the winning message. The challenge lied in the fact that in order to win the grand prize of $100,000 the contestants had to find all three of the winning messages with only three guesses.

Needless to say, Mariano managed to guess correctly which led to quite a celebration. When asked how he did it, Mariano explained that he chose numbers that were meaningful to him and just went for it! He selected bags that corresponded to the birth days of both his wife and mom. He choose bag numbers 6, 28, and 29 and found out quickly that he selected the magic combination when each envelope revealed the winning message inside!
